Yellow Pages
Branding and User Interface Design
Over the years, the Yellow Pages brand has lost a substantial share of its market to Google’s dominance. As a personal creative exercise, I decided to redesign the Yellow Pages website – elevating its visual language, humanizing its interface, and rethinking its structure to provide a smoother and more engaging user experience.
My concept introduced a cleaner, more intuitive search interface focused on usability and immediacy. I also redesigned the advertising sections, giving them greater prominence to help revitalize one of the company’s most important but underperforming revenue streams.
The redesign aimed to bring warmth, modernity, and functionality back to an iconic brand, repositioning it as a trusted, accessible, and human-centred digital platform rather than just a search directory.
