Fashion Photography
This fashion photography exercise featured one of my friends as the model. The photo was taken in my personal studio, using large white panels to reflect the light before it reached the subject – creating a soft, even illumination across the entire frame.
The final result offers a smooth, diffused lighting effect that gives the portrait a calm, balanced atmosphere. A rim light could have been added to further separate the subject from the background, which was composited in post-production.
Additional retouching work was done on the glasses to remove unwanted environmental reflections, replacing them with subtle reflections of the New York City skyline – a detail that adds depth and narrative to the image while keeping it grounded in realism.
