Métropolis

Architectural Photography

Métropolis — now known as MTelus — is one of Montreal’s most iconic music venues. With a capacity of 2,300 people, it offers an intimate and electrifying atmosphere for fans fortunate enough to see their favourite artists perform there.

The purpose of this project was to capture the venue’s exterior through a high dynamic range (HDR) photograph that felt clean, pure, and true to its nighttime energy. I invested several hours into retouching and compositing to remove imperfections and distractions from the original capture.

The result is a striking architectural image that reflects both the venue’s grandeur and the nostalgic magic of Montreal’s nightlife — an image that captures the city’s rhythm in a single frame.
