Desjardins
UX
Desjardins recently underwent a brand refresh and a complete redesign of their corporate website. However, I found the new homepage design lacked cohesion and visual harmony. Out of personal interest and creative curiosity, I decided to reimagine their homepage – simply for the pleasure of exploring a better solution.
In my alternative design, I brought forward AccèsD, the most frequently used feature by Desjardins clients, positioning it directly below the main carousel to make it instantly accessible. I also introduced a dedicated customer service section and a historical content block that highlights the cooperative’s origins — a fundamental part of its identity that, over time, had faded from the company’s digital presence.
Finally, I reworked the visual balance and structure of each content block, ensuring smoother continuity between sections. The result is a homepage that feels cleaner, more intuitive, and truer to the Desjardins brand values: accessibility, trust, and community.
