Communauto

Branding and User Experience Design

Communauto’s existing website suffers from a fundamental issue — it distracts users from their primary goal: booking a vehicle. The user journey is fragmented, cluttered with unnecessary visuals that dominate the page and create the impression of missing or inaccessible information. In addition, multiple redundant steps and extra clicks make it harder to reach the core functions: reserving a vehicle or becoming a member.

To address this, I reimagined the website from the ground up with a “back-to-basics” approach. My redesign focused on immediate access to the platform’s essential content and actions. The result is a clean, direct interface where users can book a vehicle or sign up within seconds of landing on the page.

At the same time, I refined the visual presentation to better integrate Communauto’s brand identity, using its colours and typography to convey a sense of modernity and trust. I also reduced the number of options visible on the homepage, creating a more guided and purposeful navigation flow that encourages engagement without overwhelming the user.

This redesign brings clarity, usability, and visual coherence to a service that thrives on simplicity – making the online experience reflect the ease and efficiency of the product itself.
